White attended school in Gatewood. On April 19, 1967, in Phoenix, Ariz., whe was united in marriage to Max White, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1992.
Survivors include four sons, Ray Hise of Dogwood, J.T. Hise of West Plains, Sammy Hise of Sikeston, and Rick Hise of Blytheville, Ark.; four daughters, Leona Ellis and Janet Pierce, both of Gosnell, Ark., Evita Ayers of Caruthersville, and Theresa Smith of Danube, Minn.; 38 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a very special friend, Albert Hilburn of Caruthersville, and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held Friday, June 18, 1999, 2 p.m., in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Paul Quinn officiating. Interment was in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville.
