George Lewis Snell
Funeral services for George Lewis Snell, age 77, who passed away March 8, were conducted at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 2 p.m., March 10, with Rev. Robert Graham, M.G. Rachal, and Jim Owens officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mertie Snell of Hornbeck; sons, Donald L., and Evon L., both of Hornbeck; daughter, Christel of Leesville, and Mina Walpole of Port Arthur, Texas; one half brother; six half sisters; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. last Thursday for George Snell, 77, who died Tuesday in Hornbeck, after a lengthy illness.

The services were held in the Oak Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Graham, the Rev. M. G. Rachel, and the Rev. Jim Owens officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Donald and Ivan Snell of Hornbeck; two daughters, Mrs. Crystal Ellis of Leesville; Mrs. Mina Walpole of Port Arthur, Tex.; one halfl-brother, six half-sisters, a5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
