Susie Jones was one of eleven children born to Elder Elias Henry and Missouri Paraleen Jones. She was born and grew up in Burleson county, Texas. In 1899 she married William Joel Burns. One son, Delover, was born on leap year day, 1900. Joel Burns soon left his family behind and Susie was left to go on with her son. In 1903 she married Clyde Ford. Two sons were born to this union, Clyde Jr. and Wilbert and their big brother Delover all grew up in Taylor Texas. Susie was preceeded in life by her parents Elder Elias Henry Jones and her mother Missouri Paraleen Jones. As preceeding her in death were her sister, Cora, and brother, Dallas, and her husband, Clyde. She leaves to mourn her passing, her sons, Delover, Clyde Jr, and Wilbert, her sisters Mary Jane, Mollie Jennie, Polly, and Ruth, and her brothers Bailey, Sidney, Gustava, and Frank, and neices, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
