According to contributor Tim Anderson, Colesberry is how her name is spelled in many of her letters which he has examined. Colesthorpe is apparently an earlier spelling of the family name. The middle name of Bridley should be Brindley as she was the niece of American canal engineer James Brindley (1745-1820).
