DANIEL E. BARTLEY
Daniel E. Bartley, 69, a retired farmer from Limestone township, was stricken at his home with a heart attack on Wednesday morning, July 2, and died several hours later at 12:30 o'clock.
Mr. Bartley was born in Hartley township on October 8, 1877, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bartley. He was a member of the Swengel Lutheran Church.
His wife, Katie, preceded him in death. There were no children. Surviving are the following: a brother, James Bartley of Snyder county; and three sisters, Mrs. Reno Zimmerman of Mifflinburg; Mrs. Elmer Johnson of Laurelton; and Mrs. Clara Sholter of Dauphin.
Services were held at ten o'clock Saturday morning, July 6 from the White Springs Evangelical United Brethren Church with the pastor, Rev. C. C. Ness, officiating. Interment was made in the Swengel cemetery.
