Ruth Elizabeth Branning, 95 of Lockhart, TX and formerly of Honesdale, Pa. died March 29, 2008 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Caldwell, TX. She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank Racht and second husband Clark Branning. Born July 8, 1912 in Clarks Green, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Hoadley Hicks. She worked as a seamstress in a factory before retiring. She is survived by her daughter Eloris Burdik and husband Clayton of Kyle, TX; sons Allan Racht and wife Ruth Ann and Gary Racht and wife Roseann all of Honesdale; a brother Robert Hicks of Yardley, PA; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many family and friends.
A graveside service will be held July 2, 2008 at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Honesdale at 11 a.m. Local arrangements by Hessling Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale.
