Mrs. Lily May Wilcox Fairclough, age 86, 417 Van Ness Pl., died Tuesday, 3:42 a.m., at her home of causes incident to age.
Born May 28, 1877, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Walter Eli and Amanda Hillam Wilcox. Married to Peter J. Fairclough in Salt Lake City September 20, 1900. He died January 11, 1938. Member, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Second Ward. Member, Tabernacle Choir, 25 years; sang with choir at dedication of the Salt Lake Temple.
Survivors: three daughters and three sons, Miss Zada Fairclough, Roy J., Daniel, Jack, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. James (Melva) Christofferson, Vallejo, California; Mrs. Leslie (June) Beer, Centerville; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Flora Lucy Trenam, Whittier, California.
Funeral services, Friday, noon, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery. (Published in the Deseret News, December 3, 1963.)
