Betty Bolt, age 82, resident of Jacksonville, Fla., died on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at home under Hospice care following an extended illness.
Graveside services are scheduled at Parkhill Cemetery on Friday, Apr. 20, 2007, 2 P.M. with Rev. Billy Duncan officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Ga. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 19, 2007, from 6-8 P.M.
Mrs. Bolt, daughter of the late Jim Daniel Copeland and Susie Ellis Copeland, was born August 17, 1924 in Phenix City, Ala. She resided most of her life in Columbus and retired from Swift Textiles before moving to Jacksonville, Fla. four years ago. Mrs. Bolt was a member of Beallwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Bolt.,
Mrs. Bolt is survived by one daughter, Robbie B. Brightwell of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Robert Phillip Bolt and his wife Georgia of Escondido, Calif. and Thomas Gaines Bolt and his wife Brenda of St. Augustine, Fla.; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
