Funeral services were held from the LDS Stake House Monday for Richmond Jackson Thompson, 89, who passed away Saturday, May 16 in North Big Horn hospital. Bishop Mark Robertson officiated....

Mr. Thompson was born Dec. 19, 1874 at Tintic, Utah, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richmond Thompson (Richard Beeman and Affaloua Faucett Thompson). He came to Big Horn County in 1906.

July 31, 1901, me married Eleanora Asay at Hatch, Utah. She died in 1948. Mr. Thompson was a member of the LDS church.

Surviving are three sons, Calvin Arthur and Deeward Ray of Lovell and John Asay of Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Martin Prindle of Billings and Mrs. Windell Johnston of Fort Eustus, Va.; two sisters of California; 32 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
