Margaret was born into a circus family. Her father was Fred Ledgett, animal trainer, and her mother Dallie Julian, equestrian. Her maternal grandparents were William Julian and Linda Jeal (known as the Queen of the Flaming Zone), both bareback riders.

Funeral Wednesday 8:45 am. from Peterson Funeral Home, 6938 W. North Ave., Chicago (two blocks east of Harlem) to St. Cyprian Church, River Grove for 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

The Hackett headstone photo is used for a possible guide to Margaret's grave since, according to Mr. Schultz who kindly photographed the monument, Margaret is buried in the Hackett family plot.
