ANDERSON — Eldon G. Fogt, Sr., 76, of Anderson, passed away July 15, 2009 at his residence.

He was born May 8, 1933, in Sidney, Ohio. He retired from Delco Remy in 1996 after 41 years, mostly as utility man and quality control. He last worked in department 7150, horn department.

He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church with his wife, who was a member. He was a member of UAW Local 662 and enjoyed sports, golf, playing cards and working puzzles.

He is survived by four children, Carrie (husband, Randy) Stuffel, Eldon G. Fogt, Jr., Connie S. Coffman and Shawn M. Fogt; five grandchildren, Andrea Fogt, Ashley Fogt, Randy Stuffel, Jr., Deborah Coffman and Delmar Coffman III; and sister, Elizabeth Hetzler of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Georgia (King) Fogt; parents, Wilbur B. and Gladys (McClure) Fogt; and four brothers, all of Ohio, Darrel E. Fogt, Richard F. Fogt, Ronald W. Fogt and Vernon W. Fogt.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Mike Thacker officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
