Delores Christy Holloway, 74, of Stigler died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in Stigler. She was born Feb. 10, 1935, in Cass, Okla. She was a retired grade school librarian, a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Choctaw Senior Citizens group, the Choctaw Choir and Bethel Indian Church. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Choctaw Community Center with burial at Little Sans Bois Cemetery near Keota under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Markham of Poteau; two sons, Gary Holloway of Tulsa and Terry Holloway of Poteau; four sisters, Launa Medlock of Bartlesville, Amelia Steen of Stigler, Aglae Lawson of Jay and Sandra Leonard of Pittsburg, Kan.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Hunter Shockley, Tom Mozelewski, Trey Markham, Terry, Michael and Gary Holloway and Stan Steen.
