Royce Cherry, Retired Norge Employe[sic], Dies
Royce R. Cherry, 58, 907 Edgar, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at his home.
A retired employee of Norge Division of Borg Warner Corp., he was born Feb. 12, 1908, a son of George and Eva Knapp Cherry.
Surviving are his wife, Maud; five step-children, James Bell of Hoyt Lakes, Minn.; Mrs. Gladys Hutchcraft of Mattoon; Mrs. Violet Flowers, Hord; Richard Bell, Mt. Prospect and Harvey[sic] Bell, Wheeler; 29 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Bauer funeral home and 1:15 p.m. at Free Methodist church by Rev. George Stoneburner. Burial will [be] in Oakridge cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at Bauer funeral home.
