Originally buried in a group of 9 graves in a hospital graveyard 3.5 miles west of Pine Mt. - David M. Long, J.M. Brown, J.Q.A. McNutt, Wm Boulds, Unknown, Isaac Hicks, Unknown Co B 100 OVI, Geo. W. Hempstead, Unknown.
The death date on the original burial (head board) was June 19, 1864. This was crossed out and replaced with June 14 when the body was re-interred in the Marietta National Cemetery and the name was verified with the AG report.
