Daughter of Hugh Ferdinand Briggs and Anna B. Miller. Wife of Harold E. Kohler.
Note: Pearl's birth name was Thelma Pearl Briggs per her birth certificate. Her 1938 marriage license was issued to T. Pearl Briggs.

Obituary:
Chambersburg -- Pearl B. Kohler, widow of the late Harold E. Kohler, died at 4 a.m. Monday., July 15, 2002, in Menno Haven after an illness of five years. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Anna Miller Briggs. A member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church for 75 years, Mrs. Kohler taught a Sunday School class for many years. A graduate of the now Shippensburg University, she was an outstanding teacher in the Chambersburg schools for 41 years, retiring in 1972 after being on the staff of Andrew Buchanan for 15 years. Mrs. Kohler was a charter member of the Order of the Amaranthe Falling Spring Court 139 and a member of the Martha Custis Chapter 342 Order of the Eastern Star, AARP 2840 and the Chambersburg Hospital Auxiliary, who honored her for her many hours of volunteer service. Graveside committal service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Robert Cook will officiate. There will be no viewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Chambersburg Hospital Auxiliary, 112 N Seventh St., Chambersburg 17201 or the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 2325 Country Road, Chambersburg 17201. Arrangements are by Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
