Medina County Gazette -March 6, 1961: George R. Gable Sr. died early Monday at his home in Westfield Township after a lingering illness, he was 52 and a World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; two children, George Junior and Clora Denise at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. U. C. Gable of Seville; sister, Mrs. Glenn Rohrer of Seville and a brother, Robert of Cleveland. Mr. Gable was employed by the Allied supply and Gravel Company before illness in number of months ago forced his retirement. Rev. M. Glenn Bishop of the Acme Lutheran church will conduct services Thursday at the Elliott funeral home in Lodi, burial in the Acme church cemetery.
