Miriam was born in Mineola, NY on June 29, 1930. She was the daughter of Christine Hinckley Robinson and Dr. Oliver Preston Robinson.
In 1949, she married Richard P. Rebholz. They raised three children, all of whom survive her, Karen Joy Turley (Michael) of Seattle; Julie McGee (Matthew) of Portland, Oregon; and Shawn Rebholz (Julie) of Boise. Miriam's second husband was Richard Flanagan of Alameda, California, whom she married in 1987. In 2004, Miriam married Jack Stuart, who provided her with devoted care.
Miriam enjoyed cooking, entertaining, reading, and needlework. She loved holidays and decorated her house for all of them.
Miriam is survived by her brother Bruce H. Robinson (Jayne) of Boise; and a sister, Christie Burton (Thomas) of Holladay, Utah; as well as grandchildren Eric, and Marti Toussaint and Peyton, Logan, and Camden Rebholz.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at noon in the Eagle Sixth Ward of the LDS Church.
Miriam will be interred at Utah's Farmington Cemetery, with a graveside burial ceremony on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 11 a.m.
