Don was a teacher and basketball coach who made a difference in the lives of those who were fortunate to have known him.

He was an expert at living his life to the fullest. He was full of laughter and made an effort to make others feel important and valued. He had high principles and had an ability to prioritize - there is a time to work and a time to play. His faith in God and family were his top priorities followed closely by basketball. To him coaching basketball was an important life lesson to his players. His ability to teach teamwork, work ethic, and love for the game of basketball were amazing!

His family, colleagues, friends and players loved Don for his enthusiasm, compassion and positive outlook on life. As one student said, "He was a guardian angel watching over us. Now he is watching us from heaven."
