Latrelle Barnes J. Poole, age 70, of Waycross, Ga., passed away Tuesday morning, May 10, 2005, at the Satilla Care Center after an extended illness.

Mrs. Poole was born in Clinch County, Ga., to the late C.D. Barnes and Laura Mae Danforth Barnes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Waycross Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her five children, Randy Jewell and wife, Rhonda, of Douglas, Ga., Ricky Jewell and wife, Penny, of McDonough, Ga., Rodney Jewell and wife, Ladon, of Waycross, Ga., Lynelle Davis and husband, Bennie, of Waycross, Ga., Richard Jewell and wife, Debbie, of Douglas, Ga.; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mrs. Poole was preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe Jewell and a brother, Parnell Barnes.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
