HEFLEY - Lila Virginia, age 84, passed away in her home on Sunday, July 26, 2009, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Lila was born on September 14, 1924, to Elmer and Ruth (Williamson) Foster in Eufaula, OK. She married Joe Harley Hefley on July 21, 1972, in Broken Arrow, OK. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1994.

She raised her children and made Wagoner home. She retired in 1985 from McDonnell-Douglas as a fabricator in aero space manufacturing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruth Foster; 4 brothers, Hulen, Carl, Pete and Jim Foster; and 1 sister, Mildred Long.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Baker and his wife Leslie of Paulden, AZ; 2 daughters, Connie Aston of Wagoner, OK, and Barbara Potter and husband Raymond of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Pauline Wilson of Wagoner, OK; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK with Reverend Willie Rice officiating.
