Graveside services for Lois Polvadore of Lubbock will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Rev. John Ballard officiating. Lois went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 13, 2009.

Lois was born in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Fred and Nellie (Wall) Stivers. She married the love of her life, John T Polvadore in 1946 in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death in 1977. Lois and Johnny were longtime residents of Crosby County. Lois moved to Lubbock in 1986 where she was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Federation of Square and Round Dancers. She spent many years as the manager of the Lubbock Inn Gift Shop retiring at the age of 90.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Nancy Fowler and husband Mark of Lubbock; and niece, Inez Bilson of Austin.

Memorials may be made to Bethany House or Home Instead Senior Care.
