Florence Garrity Hillenburg, 74, Indianapolis, died Tue., March 4, 2003.
She was born Nov. 19, 1928, to the late James and Grace Byers and was raised on the south side of Indianapolis; later, moving to Mooresville in 1960.

Mrs. Hillenburg worked in sales at Kraft Bakery, G.C. Murphy's and B.J.'s Women's Clothing for several years.

Survivors include:
Son, Steven Garrity;
2 brothers, William and James Byers;
Lifelong friend, Vivian Warren Hindman, whom she met at age 8 at school #22. They shared each other's happiness and sorrows throughout their lives, and after more than 60 years, they remained friends for life.

Preceded in death by:
First husband, Thomas Garrity,
Second husband, Harold Hillenburg
Grandson, Andrew Garrity.
