Joan was the daughter of the late Margaret (Regan) & Robert Casey. Joan was raised in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic Girls School. She previously resided in Clementon before coming to Buena in 1969. Mrs. McMaster was a former cafeteria worker for the Buena Schools. She had also worked for Media Stack Steel in Vineland, and retired in 1996 from the Boro of Buena's Tax office. In her earlier years, Mrs. McMaster had two boats named Isle of June & the Shamrock, and she loved to fish on the Delaware Bay. Joan was an avid gardener who also enjoyed jig-saw puzzles & following the Philadelphia Eagles. Sister of the late Kathleen Benson & the late Margaret Chupein, she is survived by her two daughters; Mary McMaster & her companion Jose P. Torres of Buena & Debbie McMaster of Vineland; & two special nieces, Joan Angle & her husband Derek of Manahawkin & Peggy Winder of Lake Forest, CA. She was predeceased by her beautiful grandchildren, Michael Gabriel Torres and Victoria Louise Torres. She passed away from complications of leukemia. She will be deeply missed!
