Omer E. Storck, 91, passed away November 23, 2013 in Tulsa, OK. Born in Allen County, Kansas on February 24, 1922 to Henry and Clara Groenert Storck. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps as a flight engineer and gunner on thirty flying missions over Germany.

He was active in petroleum energy as an independent oil producer in Osage and Wagoner Counties. Omer worked for Nadel & Gussman Oil Co. for 25 years retiring in 1989 as Production Superintendent.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leroy Storck of Parsons, Kansas, Harold Storck and Cecil Storck of Chanute, Kansas; two sisters, Ella Ranabarger and Viola Debler of Chanute and his first wife of 37 years Phyllis Bradford Storck.

He is survived by brother, Junior Storck of Wichita, Kansas, many nieces and nephews; and his loving wife Jodie of the home. Omer and Jodie shared 25 years of marriage in October.

He is also survived by the Chrisman family, including Jason and Sadena, Steve and Traci, John and Susan and Earl and Sally. Omer shared holidays, birthdays and special events.

Omer is a member of Tulsa Good Shepherd Lutheran Church since 1954.

Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Graveside service with military honors will be held in Chanute, Kansas. Donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in his honor or charity of your choice.
