Born Aug. 12, 1880, in Van Wert County, he was a retired carpenter and stonemason. Mr. Hart was an associate member of the Paulding Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Widow's Son Logde, F&AM.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Elsie) Harrow of Rt. 3, Paulding; two sons, Elva Hart and Chester Hart, both of Cecil; 14 grand-children, and 40 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie (Smith) Hart, two daughters and one son.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Crowell-DenHerder Funeral Home with the Rev. Gilmore Creelman officiating.
Burial will be in Bowholtz cemetery, located southeast of Paulding.
Memorial services are to be conducted at 8 p.m. today by the Widow's Son Lodge, F&AM.
