Earl Waldron was killed instantly when he lost control of his car and it plungd down a steep 75-foot embankment about 10 miles east of Tallamook on the Wilson River Highway. His wife, Helen, was hospitalized in Tallamook with a possible ankle fracture. Oregonian, August 27, 1963
