WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest Tuesday, September 9th, 2008, Mr. Gerald Hoke Norris, 65, beloved husband of thirty-four years to Mrs. Faye Johnson Norris and son of the late Hoke Smith and Frankie Bugg Norris. Born March 4, 1943, in Hephzibah, GA, he had been an area resident all of his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Norris was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his wife, family members include, children, Anthony Easler, (Catherine) Warrenville, SC, Robin Braswell, Augusta, GA, the late Christopher Troy Easler, Gina Easler, Warrenville, SC, William Norris, Gibson, GA, and Shannon Nicole Escartin, (Peter) Hephzibah, GA; siblings, Barbara Stempin, (Henry) North Tonawanda, NY, Ann Thompson, (JR) Mobile, AL, John Norris, (Mary) Mt. Holley, NC and Kay Dixon, (Tom) Augusta, GA; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
