Frieda Lohrenz Doerr, 78, died early Saturday morning in the North Big Horn Nursing Home in Lovell after a short illness. She was born September 8, 1908 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Conrad and Katherine Miller Lohrenz. She came to Wyoming at an early age with her family. She married Adolf Doerr February 28, 1926 in Lovell. They made their home near Lovell for many years where they farmed. She was fond of cooking and loved to knit. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lovell.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Ted Doerr of Lovell; three daughters, Phyrn Opp of Lovell, Doris Baxendale of Lovell, and Phyllis Fringer of Sedona, Arizona; five brothers, William Lohrenz of Cody, Wyoming, Victor Lohrenz of Billings, Montana, Edwin Lohrenz of Buffalo, Missouri, Harvey Lohrenz of Powell, Wyoming, and Robert Lohrenz of Powell, Wyoming; five sisters, Katie Winterholler of Federal Way, Washington, Sara West of Lovell, Ruth Jordan of Yarmouth, Washington, Esther Brill of Riverton, Wyoming, and Glorriana Frame of Frenchtown, Montana; 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 9, 1987 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church in Lovell with Pastor Duane M. Duley officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery.
