SHREVEPORT, LA - Celebration of life services for Mrs. Dorothy Rogers Hadley, 94, will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Worley officiating. Interment will follow in the Centuries Memorial Park. Family will be receiving guests for visitation from 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Centuries.

Dorothy Charlotte Rogers Hadley was born September 4, 1914, in McNeil, Arkansas to the late Charles Thomas and Sara Elizabeth Stocks Rogers and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ June 15, 2009, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Hadley was a longtime resident of the Shreveport area and was a member of the Broadmoor Baptist Church here in Shreveport. Mrs. Hadley worked in the church nursery, and was part of a gardening club as well as a sewing club.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Hadley; her son,Tommy Hadley; and seven sisters. Left to cherish her memory and tell her stories will be one grandson, Thomas Brett Hadley; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Rene' Hadley Cottrell; two great- grandchildren: Avery and Mignon Cottrell; a daughter-in-law, Pattie Fullilove; and two very special family friends: Gay Worley and Audrey Ache', along with a host of many other family and friends. Mrs. Hadley will always be remembered as a loving friend to all who knew her.

Acting as pallbearers will be Roy Hurley, Johnny Cobb, Tom Fullilove, Randall Ache', John Stafford, and Bill Kennedy.
