Elven Noah Nobles of Redlands, died February 9, 1983 at the age of 67. He had worked at Norton AFB as an Avionics Electrician for 12 years, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and decorated three times. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Loren Lee Nobles in 1977, survived by his son, Robert E. Lee and Daughter, Sherry Lee, both of Pacific Grove, two grandchildren, three sisters, Audrey Esser of Perham, Minnesota, Vivian Moritz of Maywood, Illinois and Edna Mae Riden of St. Louis, Missouri. Service is at 11 a.m., Monday in the Emmerson-Bartlett Redlands Chapel with Rev. John C. Mortensen, Pastor of the Temple Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Montecito Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Temple Baptist Church.
