Ollie Lee Graham, Musick, Smythes was born May 23, 1889, in Apache Creek, Socorro County, New Mexico. She was the youngest daughter of William James Graham and Mahalah Ann Bowsman. Ollie grew up with an abusive father, so bad that his oldest son killed the father when he was beating up on Mrs. Graham and kicking her when she was down. In a photo of the family, you can see the sadness and pain in Mrs. Graham's and all the children's faces. Ollie first married Walter Gustavas Musick, November 25, 1909 in Apache Creek, New Mexico. They had no children. He was born August 24, 1864 in Upshur Co. Texas and died November 1928. Ollie then married Tom Smythes who was born in Texas. He died in 1950. Ollie Lee died in Safford, Graham County, Arizona on July 11, 1984 and was buried by her husband, Tom, in the Reserve, Catron County, New Mexico Cemetery.
