LOGAN - Hilda Vail Adams, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, March 21. 2003 at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 7, 1914 in Logan to Alfred Lorenzo Vail and Maryann Anderson.

She grew up in Logan, attending the local schools and graduating from Logan High. She married Stanley T. Adams in Logan and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they raised two sons.

Hilda enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with her husband. She loved to read and delighted in being a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling throuohout the western United States.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various capacities throuohout the years. She was a member of the Logan 17th Ward.

Hilda is survived by her sons: Gary V. (Yvonne) Adams, Perry and Doug S.(MaryAnn) Adams, Logan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother. Ted Thomas Dove.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2003 at the Logan City Cemetery with Rodney Keller, conducting.

Friends and family may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan, prior to services.
