Labac, Wallace G. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and avid golfer passed away July 9, 2009 at his home in Dallas after a battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marie, children Randy (Carolyn) Labac, Gary (Penny) Labac, Linda (Eddie) Hull, Phyllis Dodge, Doug (Pam) Labac, Claudia Herdeman, 25 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, sister Annette Muellner. Preceding him in death are his parents and brothers, Frank and Walter. Born on April 24, 1916 in Chicago, IL to Joseph & Constance (Mackowicz) Labac, he attended Crozier Tech High School, excelling in sports and continued his education in Accounting at night school. He married Marie (Glueckert) Labac on May 17, 1941 and moved to Dallas in 1956. He owned Wal-Mar Products and Mfg. Inc. until he retired. Visitation will be Sunday, July 12 at 5pm and the rosary will begin at 7pm at Sparkman-Crane. The funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 13 at 10am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 6306 Kenwood Ave., Dallas 75214.
