SCHNEIDER RITES SLATED FRIDAY

Mrs. Sophie Louisa Schlick Schneider, 86, 618 St. James St., died Wednesday in a local hospital. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Hackberry Street Methodist Church with the Rev. J.E. Mack officiating. Interment will be in Mission Burial Park.

Survivors are sons; E.A. and Charles W. Schneider, San Antonio; daughters; Mrs. Emma B. Mueller; Miss Annie L. Schneider, San Antonio; Mrs. Howard Brooks of Malvern, Ark.;
sisters; Mrs. Edward Arnold and Mrs. Charles Pauling, San Antonio; grandsons; Charles W. Schneider, Jr., and Thomas L. Schneider, San Antonio; granddaughters, Mrs. George Swan, Jr. of Dallas; Miss Patsy Gay Schneider of Houston, and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Schneider was a native of Washington County, and had lived here for 70 years. She was the oldest living member of Hackberry Street Methodist Church. She was a pioneer Texan and her husband was a building contractor.
