Nina L. Eash, 72, of LaGrange, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Eash was born on August 11, 1933 in Noble County to Claude E. and Loena (Gandy) Surfus. Her mother survives in LaGrange, IN.
On June 14, 1953 she married James J. Eash in LaGrange, IN, he survives. She moved from Noble County to LaGrange in 1950. She was a co-owner of the Purity Supermarket in LaGrange from 1953 until she retired in 2001. Mrs. Eash was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange and was a former member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
She is survived by her husband, her mother, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey J. and Beth Eash and Bradley A. and Michelle Eash both of LaGrange and one granddaughter, Courtney Eash of LaGrange. She is preceded in death by her father and sister, JoAnne Garrison, who died on September 3, 2003.
Services for Mrs. Eash will be held at 10am on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, with Rev. Dexter Garman officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005 from 2-5pm & 6-9pm at the Frurip-May Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, IN.
