Mr. Wade died July 18, 1991 at his residence in Caruthersville. He was born July 24, 1934 in Little River Township, Wardell, Mo., to Phil and Mary Dorothy Cheshire Wade. He was a retired torpedoman in the U.S. Navy, having served 25 years active duty. He served in the Korean conflict and retired from U.S. Navy in June 1972.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Long Wade of Caruthersville; one son, Ronald D. Wade of Goose Creek, S.C.; two daughters, Debra Wade of North Charleston, S.C., Veronica Brewer of Talullah, La.; one grandson, Joshua Wade of Goose Creek, S.C. He was preceded in death by one son, Harvey Ralph Wade Jr.
