Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas and Corrie Elizabeth Ridgeway Cothran. She retired from Model Coats and was a member of Daventon Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Susan Henderson of Simpsonville, and Diane Henderson Tolson and her husband, Nolan, of Donalds; sons, John Henderson and his wife, Vicky, and Phil Henderson and his wife, Karen, all of Lexington; brothers, J.T. Cothran of Greenville, and Wendall Cothran of Waterboro; sisters, Annie Holiday of Belton, Pally Watkins of Greer, Betty Sue Thompson of Greenville, and Mary Cothran of Pelzer; and grandchildren, James and David Tolson, Terri, and Karen Henderson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Charlie Cothran; and a sister, Lila Darby.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Daventon Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Lowe and Andy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home and will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Daventon Baptist Church, 315 Daventon Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.
