Funeral at Christian Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Chambers officiating.
Joseph Butler an old resident of Oelwein, passed away suddenly while sitting on the prch of his residence at 224 Eight Aveue West, Sunday evening at 7:20. He had been down town Saturday and seemed to be in his usual health and heart trouble was responsible for his unexpected death. he was sixty seven years of age and was born in Ohio, April 24, 1848 and had been a citizen of Oelwein and was well known here. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and that Order will take charge of he last services. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
