GAINESVILLE Funeral services for Jewell Hayes, 70, of Gainesville, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Clinkingbeard Chapel with the Revs. Raymond McGinnis and Bob Duckworth officiating. Burial will be in Mammoth Cemetery.
Mr. Hayes, a lifelong resident of Gainesville, died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday in his home, after apparently suffering a heart attack.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Lee Carr, Gainesville; a sister Mrs. Flo Chester, Longview, Wash.; two brothers, Dale, Rock Island, 111., and Claude, Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
