Mrs. Ethel F. Tarr, 58 of Kittanning RD 7 died at 5 a.m. Sunday in her home. She was born July 6, 1908 in Summerville, a daughter of Jesse H. and Mary (Ellenberger) Wampler. Mrs. Tarr was a member of First Brethren Church of West Kittanning. She had taught school for 21 years, spending the last three of those at Pine Hill. Surviving are her husband, Raymond B. Tarr; one stepson, Jacob Tarr of Kittanning RD 7; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Dean (Shirley) Bennett of Kittanning RD 7; four step grandchildren; one brother, George Wampler of Erie; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Electa) Schreckengost of Summerville and Mrs. Marion (Jane) Myers of Erie. TARR — Friends of Mrs. Ethel F. Tarr of Kittanning RD 7, who died Feb. 12, 1967, are being received at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 14) at the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Jurke, interim pastor of First Brethren Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Alton Witter. Burial will be in Limestone Church of God Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder.
