Born April 3, 1936 in Wayne County, KY, she was the daughter of William Howard and Sara (Tucker) Maxwell. She married Jessie J. Jones on December 26, 1952 and he survives. She was a line worker and inspector for RCA in Bloomington and was a Pentecostal Evangelist for many years. She was a member of the Wildflower Pentecostal Church in Mitchell.
Surviving with her husband, Jessie of Springville are four sons, Tom Jones and wife, Geneva of Bedford, Ronnie Jones, Paul Jones and wife, Sara and Scott Jones and wife, Jacque all of Springville; two daughters, Rita Reynolds and husband, Tommy of Monticello, KY and Maria Terry of Bedford; two sisters, Marie McCollough and Mae Tucker both of Louisville, KY; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, six sisters and 1 great grandson, Daniel Reynolds.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, July 13th at the Oak Grove Church with Bro. Steve Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lowder Cemetery.
