Funeral services for Ms. Grace Lee Baxter, 74, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman. Rev. Bill Taylor and Rev. Jimmy Flake will officiate. Burial will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery near Ackerman.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Coleman Funeral Home.
A native of Choctaw County, Ms. Baxter was a retired factory worker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Ms. Baxter died Monday, July 6, 2009 at Choctaw County Medical Center in Ackerman.
Survivors include sisters Imogene Hill of Starkville, Ruby F. Murihead of Ackerman, Geraldine E. Rushing of Ackerman, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 300 E. Hunt Road, Ackerman, 39735.
