Broken Hip Proves Fatal to Aged Man

Sanford Hinchman, 81 years old, dies Sunday at Home of his daughter, Mrs. Homer Nash.

Sanford Hinchman, aged 81 years, born and reared in Union township, expired Sunday morning about 2:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Homer Nash, near Gings, death being the result of a broken hip which he suffered in a fall a week ago last Friday.

The deceased was well known farmer of Union township where he had resided his entire life; and in recent years he had retired and made his home with his duaghter, at whose home he died.

He is survived by several children, who are Albert, Earl and Leslie of this vicinity, Madison of Beverly, Kas, Mrs. Edith Reynolds of Glenwood, Mrs. Ollie Fry of Indianapolis and Mrs. Nash. Seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Nash in charge of the Rev Mr. Hosier, and burial will take place in the Hinchman cemetery.
