Mrs Jane Slaven Abbott, age
56, wife of James Abbott, was
killed in an auto accident near
the Pump Station bridge on
South 90 Sunday afternoon.
She was a daughter of Ab and
Elizabeth Watson Sweet. She
first married Oz Slaven who
passed away some years ago,
and some time ago she was
married to James Abbott.
Besides her husband, she is
survived by one daughter and two
sons and several sisters and
brothers.
Funeral services were held at
the Elk Spring cemetery by
Rev. Mintford Hicks, with
music by Rev. Raymond Abbott
and others.
The Richard R Lee funeral
home was in charge.
