He was born in Greene County, March 26, 1873, son of the late Jessie and Polly Ann Powell Morris.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Rosie Lee Hensley of Hancock Md, Mrs. Lydia Lamm of West Virginia, Mrs. Lou Raines of White Hall, and Mrs. Minnie Harris of Alexandria; a stepdaughter, Mrs. William Morris of Free Union, and 22 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2;30 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Brethren at Free Union.
