Mrs. Eva Barbara Slowitzky, nee Minsenberger, aged 69, of 330 East Beech street, died at her home at 6:30 this morning after a seven days illness of pneumonia. She was born in Hazleton and spent all her life in this city. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid Society and Quilters of that church, and second president of the Ladies Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Her husband, Anthony Slowitzky, died six years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Evans and three sons, George, Frank and Alex. Also by seven grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. William Scheuch, of Archbald; Mrs. William Hines, of Philadelphia; Simon Minsenberger, of Belvidere; Andrew Minsenberger, of Panama; and John Minsenberger, of Philadelphia. The funeral will be held privaely from her late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 with services in charge of Rev. H. Clay Bergstresser, of the Trinity Lutheran church. Interment will be in Vine Street Cemetery.
