Hulda Izatt Hyde Jensen, 94, of Cache Valley, Utah, died quietly in her sleep on the morning of Monday, April 29, 2013, at Manor Care Hospice in Ogden, Utah. Hulda was born Nov. 29, 1918, in Logan, Utah, to William and Vilate (Christensen) Izatt. She married Eldon Lee Hyde on April 15, 1939, and they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.
Surviving are her children William (Judy) Hyde of Ogden, Charlotte (Charles) Godfrey of Marietta, Ga., Julie Hess of Ogden and Ronald (Jolene) Wardle of Logan; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three spouses, son Richard Lee Hyde, four sisters, two brothers and one grandson.
Hulda was a lifetime resident of Cache Valley. She loved flower gardening and won several Logan city beautification awards. She loved crocheting and cooking and she always stood on her front porch to wave goodbye to every visitor.
A viewing will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Hyde Park church, 65 E. Center St. in Hyde Park. Graveside services will follow at the Hyde Park Cemetery.
Flowers may be delivered before 4 p.m. Friday to Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St. in Ogden.
The family extends a special thank you to Hospice For Utah for the comfort they provided to Hulda and her family.
