Services for Dale Dwain Sullivan, 83, Gerty, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Gerty Methodist Church, Rev. Kerry Groce will officiate. Burial will follow at the Gerty Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Allen Chapel from 3:00 p.m. Wednesday until service time. Mr. Sullivan died Monday, July 6, 2009 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born August 15, 1925 at Polk County, Missouri at George Elby and Dollie Sullivan. He attended school in Missouri. He married Lola Mae Keeling on November 21, 1953 in Oklahoma City. Mr. Sullivan was a self-employed roofer and he also installed siding. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Lola Sullivan, of the home; two daughters, Sherry Bacon, Ada, and Dollie Diane Sanders, Wynnewood; three brothers, Everett Sullivan and wife Mary, California, John Sullivan and wife Pat, Eugene, OR, and Ernie Ray Sullivan, Springfield, MO; three sisters, Nora Neal, Bolliver, MO, Vernie Lee, Bolliver, MO, and Hazel Boden, Kansas; five grandchilren, Tesha, Tandi, Calvin, Michael, and Amanda; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Sullivan, three sisters, Goldie Sullivan, Thelma, and Louise Pendergraft, and one great grandson. Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
