Visitation: Will be at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Funeral services for Billie John Linzay will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Dr. Michael Shamblin officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball.

Visitation will be at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.

Ms. Linzay was a member of Alpine First Baptist Church. She was a former nursing instructor at LSUA and weekend nurse at Lexington House. Ms. Linzay was a retired nurse from Alexandria VAMC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dover W. and Alice Eskew Cryer; son, John Linzay, brothers, Bobby Simmons and Tommy Simmons and sister, Dora Cryer.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Clara LaCroix of Pineville; sister, Mary Alice Cryer of Alexandria and grandchild, Hunter LaCroix.
