Sharlene Barry Brewster
RUSHVILLE — Sharlene (Barry) Brewster, 57, 4371 E. Gings Rd., Rushville, died at 2:09 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Oct. 2, 1936, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Edmund (Ted) and Goldie Hankins Barry, both of whom precede her in death.
She had lived all of her life in Rush County and was currently on sick leave from Ford Electronics in Connersville where she had worked for over 26 years. She was a member of AMVETS in Connersville and a 1955 New Salem High School graduate.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Coy of Rushville; one brother, Carl Edmund (Ted) Barry of Connersville; and one sister, Mrs. Ronald S. (Mary) Pond Jr. of Indianapolis.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers including Mr. Lowell T. Barry who died Feb. 2, 1994.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville with Pastor Lloyd Mofield officiating. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
